PART B — TERMS OF TRADE (INSTALLATION SERVICES)These Terms apply to all installation services provided by Leon Solar Leap Limited unless otherwise agreed in writing.9. DefinitionsCompany means Leon Solar Leap Limited.Client means the individual or organisation purchasing services.Services means solar PV installation, battery storage installation, electrical works, inspections, and commissioning.Contract means any agreement for Services.10. Formation of ContractA contract is formed when the Company confirms acceptance of a quotation or begins work, whichever occurs first.11. Scope of WorksWorks will be carried out in accordance with agreed specifications and system design. The Company is not responsible for defects arising from existing wiring, roof structures, or concealed services.12. Surveys and Structural IntegrityThe Client is responsible for ensuring that the roof structure and property are suitable for installation. The Company is not responsible for structural defects not visible during standard surveys.13. VariationsAny changes to system design, equipment, or scope may result in additional costs and extended timelines.14. Access and SafetyThe Client must provide safe access to the property, including scaffolding where required, and ensure that pets and occupants are kept clear of work areas.15. Planning and PermissionsUnless otherwise stated, the Client is responsible for planning permission, permitted development compliance, and building control notifications.16. Grid Connection and ExportThe Company will complete required notifications to distribution network operators where applicable but cannot guarantee approval timelines or export tariffs.17. Pricing and PaymentPrices are exclusive of VAT unless stated. Payment terms are stated on invoices. Late payments may incur statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.18. Delays and SchedulingCompletion dates are estimates only. Delays caused by weather, supplier shortages, access issues, or regulatory processes do not constitute breach of contract.19. Warranties and GuaranteesWorkmanship is warranted for a reasonable period. Manufacturer warranties apply to equipment and are administered by the manufacturer, not the Company.20. System PerformanceEnergy generation estimates are not guaranteed and depend on weather, shading, roof orientation, usage patterns, and system maintenance.21. Maintenance and AftercareOngoing maintenance, cleaning, and monitoring are the responsibility of the Client unless covered by a separate service agreement.22. LiabilityThe Company’s total liability is limited to the value of the Contract. The Company is not liable for indirect losses including loss of savings, feed-in tariffs, or energy revenue.23. InsuranceThe Company maintains appropriate public liability and employer’s liability insurance as required by law.24. Cancellation and TerminationIf the Client cancels after ordering equipment or scheduling installation, the Company may recover costs incurred. Either party may terminate for material breach.25. Force MajeureNeither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control including extreme weather, supply chain disruption, or regulatory changes.26. Assignment and SubcontractingThe Company may subcontract parts of the work. The Client may not assign the contract without written consent.27. ConfidentialityBoth parties shall keep commercial and technical information confidential unless disclosure is required by law.28. Governing Law
All Contracts are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
